Embedded in the foothills of the Spanish Pyrenees, Ca la Daina is a beautiful and lovingly restored 16thC house over 5 floors with beams and log fires, cosy, but also spacious, sleeping up to 16 people. Fabulous views overlooking gorges and mountains. Ideal for two families or groups of friends.

Between mid June to mid September the outdoor pool is open, the ideal place to get fit and sunbathe with terracotta terrace and loungers, and spectacular views to the mountains. It is two minutes from the house and costs £1 for all day. You won’t want to leave!

Walking around Camarasa is stupendous, from the village you can walk for hours along mountain tracks to hidden hermitages, caves and ancient deserted villages. Half an hour’s drive can take you high up into the Pyrenees to ridge walks with panoramic views of snow capped peaks. Winter Spring or summer you will find plenty to do
